Jackie was born November 28, 1960 in Joplin, MO. Her parents were Robert West and Rosemary (Vaughn) West. She was a lifetime resident of Galena.
She graduated from Galena High School with the class of 1979. She was a member of Empire Mission Church, Galena. Jackie worked as a cook and bartender, last working at Hogs and Hotrods. Her favorite pastimes were sewing, quilting, and attending garage sales. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren.
Surviving is one son, Eric West (wife, Nicole), Springfield, MO; one daughter, Leslie West, Galena; one brother, Terry West, address unknown; one sister, Jerri Riley (husband, Rick) Talala, OK; and 6 grandchildren, Kaytlayn West, Caitlin West, Mathew West, Aughston West, Makayla West, and Brittany West.
She was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS.
A celebration of life will be hold at State Line Bar. The date and time is to be announced.
The family will hold a memorial graveside service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Galena, KS.
