Steven Brice Johnson, 67, of Pittsburg, died July 14, 2018 at Girard Medical Center.
He was born December 12, 1950 in Pittsburg, Kansas, the son of Frank and Marian (Hurst) Johnson, long time owners of Otto’s Cafe in downtown Pittsburg.
Steven graduated College high school in 1968. His dad retired from Otto’s in 1977 and Steve took ownership of the café, retiring in 2015 due to his health.
He loved his family, Friends, Otto’s, all animals and sports.
Steve is survived by his wife; Sherry Johnson of the home, mother; Marian Johnson, brother; Darryl and his wife Doris Johnson, his little dog “Picco”, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Frank and sister Beverly Largent.
In honor of Steve’s wishes no services are planned.
Memorials may be left to the S.E.K Humane Society or The Wesley House; these may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
