Karen E. Benner, 68 of Pittsburg, KS died at 5:30 am Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Via Christi Village in Pittsburg.
She was born July 25, 1949 in Flemingsburg, KY the daughter of Hildrith Doyle and Marjorie (Porter) Heck.
She was married to Paul E. Benner, Sr. in Georgia; he survives her of the home.
Karen was a nurse working for Mt. Carmel Hospital for 35 years.
Additional survivors include a daughter Bobi O’Neal of Pittsburg, two sons: Paul Benner, Jr. of Girard and Richard Benner of Chanute, KS; three brothers, a grandson Kiel O’Neal and eight other grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Inurnment will take place at the Mt. Olive Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be left atwww.bathnaylor.com. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 522 S. Broadway Pittsburg, KS
