Kathryn L. Manitz, 98, of Pittsburg, passed away at 6:50 p.m., Monday, April 17, 2017.
She was born June 7, 1918, at Gross, KS, the daughter of Tony and Lydia (Wade) Fenoglio.
She was united in marriage to Richard F. Manitz on April 22, 1938, at Lamar, MO. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1995. Mrs. Manitz was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Pam Manitz of the home, and Connie Barca (Anthony) of Lake Worth, FL, and one grandson, Christopher Barca of Hawaii and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Eugene Fenoglio, Tony Fenoglio, Richard Fenoglio, Robert Fenoglio and Billy Fenoglio, and three sisters, Margie Pichler, Patsy Stovall, and Gladys Cochran.
A graveside service is set for 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 21, 2017, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Pittsburg, with Pastor Annie Ricker conducting the service. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the Brenner Mortuary to sign the register book. The family suggests memorials to Meals on Wheels. These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762. Friends may also leave condolences online at www.brennermortuary.com.
